About Us

Ponnu Matriculation Higher Secondary School was Founded in the year 1967 by munificence and devotion of the farsighted and noble person late Thiru. P.S.Thangavelu Mudaliar with the motto of making the future generation “ Bright, Brave and Patriotic”. It was started as “Ponnu English Home school”. And later it was upgraded as a Matriculation Higher Secondary School and recognized by the government of Tamil Nadu. Today it has outwitted other matriculation schools of the town by its relentless hardwork and perseverance and the kind Cooperation rendered by the public Now the School is being run by Sri Ramakrishna Madam Trust.
